We appreciate our staff and clients for continuing to keep traditions during difficult times.
Every year Abilities Unlimited collects pocket change in order to buy school supplies for local special education and kindergarten classes. These supplies normally get divided up and passed out by our clients at halloween time. It has been a great joy to visit these classes while dressed in costumes. However this year Covid-19 has thrown a curve ball that has disrupted everyone’s daily lives. This year instead of passing out goodie bags full of school supplies Abilities Unlimited was able to bless those teachers we would normally visit with some gift cards to spend on their classrooms. This year we supplied goodie bags to 27 local kindergarten and special ed teachers. In the past we normally supply bags for about 450 children. Numbers might have been small this year but those 27 goodie bags will bless all their classroom kiddos.
We want you guys to know we appreciate everything you're doing to try and bring some kind of normalcy to the daily lives of the kids in your care. Thank you to our office staff for delivering these goody bags.
